This 2014-W $50 Gold Eagle Proof has graded a PERFECT PR70 Deep Cameo by PCGS and is certified First Strike. Razor sharp devices rest atop smooth, mirror-like fields that blaze with a brilliant original mint luster. This Gold Proof has fantastic eye-appeal and will make an excellent addition to your collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
