Beautiful 2016 $50 Gold Eagles graded MS70 Early Release by NGC. Each of these 1oz American Gold Eagle coins feature sharp details, crisp devices, satin-smooth fields, and brilliant surfaces.

Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

Coins rated MS70 have to be completely flawless. They're far beyond "uncirculated" and even the condition of the sealed container is crucial. This coin arrived quickly, exactly as advertised, and in perfect condition.
