Flawless, Early Releases, 24K, perfect MS70 grade... Presenting a set of 4 US Gold Buffalo coins minted in 2008 at the West Point Mint and certified as Early Releases. Struck from 24-Karat Gold, this is a stunning, beautifully-matched set of 2008-W Gold Buffalos in 1 NGC holder. All of them have brilliant luster, with reflective fields and crisp, well-struck devices. Each Gold Buffalo has been granted the highest possible grade of MS70 by NGC. This is an outstanding set that will fit perfectly into any collection or portfolio.

2008 is a Key Date in the Gold Buffalo series. It was also the only year in which the US Mint produced Buffalos in denominations less than $50, making this set of 2008-W Gold Buffalos especially collectible.

Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

American Buffalo Gold coins are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. Struck from 24-karat .9999 fine Gold, American Buffalos appeal to both numismatists and investors alike.

The set contains the following 4 Gold Buffalo coins: $50 1oz Gold Buffalo, $25 1/2oz Gold Buffalo, $10 1/4oz Gold Buffalo, $5 1/10oz Gold Buffalo in 1 NGC holder with certification number: 3248227-(025-028). NGC graded coins are sonically sealed inside a plastic core piece that holds it securely within the transparent holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
