Presenting a set of 4 Gold Buffalo coins minted in 2008 at the West Point Mint and certified as First Strikes. Struck from 24-Karat Gold, this is a stunning, beautifully-matched set of 2008-W Gold Buffalos. All of them have brilliant luster, with reflective fields and crisp, well-struck devices. Each Gold Buffalo has been granted the highest possible grade of MS70 by PCGS. This is an outstanding set that will fit perfectly into any collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
