Presenting a Set of 4 Gold 2011-W American Eagle Proofs, minted at West Point and representing each of the denominations of the Gold Eagle. All 4 of the Gold Eagles in this stunning, beautifully-matched set feature brilliant original mint luster, with smooth, clear fields and well-struck devices. Each Gold Eagle has been given the highest possible grade of PF70 Ultra Cameo by NGC and certified Early Releases. This is an excellent set that will fit perfectly into any collection.

Gold Eagles are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. The classic and beautiful obverse (front side) design of Lady Liberty recalls a golden age of coin artistry. This Liberty design has been a longtime favorite since it was first used in 1907 on the $20 Gold St. Gaudens coins. Gold American Eagles appeal to investors and collectors alike. This 2011-W Gold Eagle set includes 1 of each of the following (a total of 4 coins): $50 1oz Gold Eagle, $25 1/2oz Gold Eagle, $10 1/4oz Gold Eagle, $5 1/10oz Gold Eagle.

Early Release coins are minted during the first 30 days of a series' production, using the first dies forged by the Mint for that particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details, making them prized among collectors and investors both for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
