Perfect PF70UCAM Early Releases proof set, flawless fields, grand details, extraordinary luster... Presenting a Set of 4 2001-W American Gold Eagle Proofs, representing each of the denominations of American Eagle Gold Bullion produced that year. Struck from 22 Karat Gold at the famous West Point Mint, this is a stunning, beautifully-matched set of Gold Eagle Ultra Cameo Proofs. All of them have excellent luster, with reflective fields and sharp devices. Each Gold Eagle has been given the highest possible grade of PF70UCAM (Ultra Cameo) by NGC. This is an excellent set that will fit perfectly into any collection.

American Eagle Gold coins are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. The classic and beautiful obverse (front side) design of Lady Liberty recalls a golden age of coin artistry. This Liberty design has been a longtime favorite since it was first used back in 1907 on the $20 Gold St. Gaudens coins. Gold American Eagles appeal to both investors and collectors alike.

Early Release coins are produced using the first die forged by the Mint, resulting in a high quality strike and very fine details. In order for a coin to be designated "Early Release" it must arrive for grading within the first 30-days of production. After that time, no additional coins can recieve this distinction, guaranteeing that their population will never increase! The Early Releases designation also ensures against any design changes that may occur throughout the year. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Releases during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and beauty.

The set contains the following 4 2011-W Gold Eagle Ultra Cameo Proofs: $50 1oz Gold Eagle, $25 1/2oz Gold Eagle, $10 1/4oz Gold Eagle, $5 1/10oz Gold Eagle.

NGC graded coins are sonically sealed inside a plastic core piece that holds it securely within the transparent holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
