This 2014-W American Gold Eagle set contains all 4 denominations ($5, $10, $25, & $50) of the Gold Eagle series. Each Proof has been individually graded PR70 DCAM First Strike by the professionals at PCGS. These beautiful proofs all display excellent luster and Deep Cameo contrast, with highly-reflective fields and sharp devices. This excellent set will be appreciated by numismatists young and old, and will fit perfectly into any registry quality collection.

The set contains the following 4 Gold Eagle coins: $50 1oz Gold Eagle, $25 1/2oz Gold Eagle, $10 1/4oz Gold Eagle, $5 1/10oz Gold Eagle.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
