These gorgeous Pre-1905 MS67 Morgan Silver Dollar gems are truly magnificent to behold! Illuminated with an icy-white, lustrous glow, the devices are razor sharp and magnificently detailed. The surfaces are flawless, with an incredible, satiny-smooth glow. With such immense eye-appeal, blast white original mint luster, and incandescent surfaces, these are extremely impressive gem graded Morgans that will sit at the pinnacle of any high end Morgan Dollar collection.

Morgan’s obverse (front side) features a stunning portrait of Lady Liberty. The reverse (back) depicts a somewhat lean eagle which led some to nickname the coin the “buzzard dollar.” Morgan dollar designer George T. Morgan placed an M on both sides of the coin to lay his claim; the ‘M’ appears near Lady Liberty’s neck on the obverse and on the ribbon's left loop on the reverse. This was the first time a designer had done this on a coin in U.S. coinage history.

Morgan Silver Dollars underwent numerous design changes during the 43 year production span. Both the arrow feathers and the eagle’s tail feathers on the reverse especially received many subtle yet definitive revisions and as such, spawned an incredible number of Morgan Dollar varieties (VAM types) making these brilliant cartwheels an avid collector’s dream.

These Morgan Silver Dollars are Preferred Dates with a Mint State Grade of MS67 from either PCGS or NGC. Preferred Dates for the Morgan Dollars range from 1879 – 1882, from the San Francisco mint. Mint State Gold selects the dates you receive and feels confident that you will be very pleased with the selections.
