Description

Presenting an extraordinarily rare 1878 7TF Reverse of 1878 $1 Proof Morgan Dollar graded PR65 by PCGS and CAC certified. The U.S. Mint only produced 250 Proof Morgans in 1878 with 7 Tailfeathers, and only a handful have survived in such great condition. Current PCGS pop shows ONLY 6 graded PR65 by PCGS with only 5 graded higher.

This Silver Proof has toned surfaces. When held at an angle hues of metallic blues, violets, and bronzes can be seen. The details are very crisp and the fields are smooth. This 1878 7TF Rev 78 Morgan Proof is perfect for a high end Registry Set.

This coin has also been CAC certified for its bright luster and incredible detail. With CAC, prices for the solid quality coins are untethered from their lesser quality counterparts. A coin with CAC certification will have significant meaning to collectors and investors, and CAC coins tend to command higher premiums. Current CAC census shows ONLY 2 PR65 Morgan Dollars have been CAC certified.
