Description

This 1880 $1 Morgan has graded MS66 by PCGS. Notice the smooth fields that rest below nicely struck devices. There is nice rim toning on both the obverse and the reverse, with hues of light blue, sea green, violet, and bronze. Every which way you hold this beauty you will uncover more and more of the rainbow colors gracing the surfaces.

Among the finest remaining from the 1880 Philadelphia mintage, PCGS has graded NONE at MS67 or higher. This Morgan is extraordinary in its eye-appeal and will be sure to make a nice addition to a Silver collection or portfolio.
