Here is an 1882 Carson City Morgan Silver Dollar, graded an impressive MS66PL (proof-like) by PCGS. This rare 1882-CC Morgan is a delight. Reflective, proof-like fields shine with original mint luster. A spectacular cartwheel highlights well struck devices on both obverse and reverse. The light gold peripheral toning adds a lovely effect to the very nice eye-appeal of this proof like Morgan Dollar. This 1882-CC Silver Dollar is an excellent coin to add to any portfolio.

In 1882 the Carson City mint produced just over 1 million silver dollars and very few gem quality remain today. Current PCGS population reports show that ONLY 14 graded higher at MS67PL, with a list price for MS67PL starting at $12,750. The higher price and scarcity of MS67-PL make this MS66-PL the preferred grade among savvy collectors.
