Description

This lustrous 1883 San Francisco minted Morgan Dollar is a premium example of this mintage. The devices are very well-struck with fantastic details throughout Lady Liberty's hair and the Eagle's wing feathers. The surfaces are highly lustrous and a nice cartwheel shine accentuates smooth fields. This Morgan Dollar is nice for the grade and will fit nicely into any Silver collection.

Though just over 6-million Morgans were struck in San Francisco in 1883, from that original mintage, current PCGS population reports show ONLY 23 have graded MS65 or higher, making this a wonderful rarity that will make an excellent addition to any collection.
