A wonderful $1 Morgan from the 1883-S San Francisco mintage, graded MS65 Gem by PCGS, with exquisite semi Proof Like surfaces that gleam with stunning nearly reflective mint luster. Boldly struck, this Silver Dollar features crisp devices with sharp details. There is some light rim toning, which serves to accentuate the semi-PL quality of this coin. This is an impeccable Gem Morgan with exceptional eye-appeal.

The 1883-S Morgan is a scarce San Francisco issue. It is incredibly rare in gem certified condition. Current PCGS population shows ONLY 21 graded Gem MS65 and ONLY 5 graded higher. Because this Morgan is so rare, especially in beautiful Gem condition, it is ideal for a high end collection or registry set.
