Description

This attractive 1885-O $1 Morgan Dollar is graded Gem MS66+ by PCGS. This impressive Morgan Silver Dollar shows evidence of a strong strike which has resulted in crisp high-point detail. The devices are gently frosted, and the fields are very smooth. The surfaces are lustrous and predominately white. There is a small spot of purple-mauve toning on the reverse below the mintmark. This New Orleans dollar has extraordinary eye-appeal that is certain to please any collector.

This coin has also been CAC certified for its bright luster and incredible detail. With CAC, prices for the solid quality coins are untethered from their lesser quality counterparts. A coin with CAC certification will have significant meaning to collectors and investors, and CAC coins tend to command higher premiums.
