This rare 1885-O $1 Morgan Dollar, graded MS66 DMPL by PCGS, is a true gem in every respect. This Deep Mirror Proof-like Silver Dollar has amazingly reflective fields and frosty devices, creating spectacular contrast. There are a few of coppery-russet colored spots on the reverse. The details have strong definition, evidence of a sharp strike. The deeply mirrored fields emphasize this dazzling cartwheel shine of this proof like Morgan.

The New Orleans Mint produced over 9 million Morgan Dollars back in 1885. Very few of them graded Deep Mirror Proof like. Current PCGS population reports show ONLY 47 graded MS66DMPL and ONLY 1 graded finer, at MS67 DMPL with a list price of $12,500.
