Presenting a rare, extraordinary 1889-CC $1 Morgan Silver Dollar, graded MS63+ by PCGS and PQ Approved. Carson City minted Morgans are highly desired by collectors for their low mintages. In 1889, the Carson City mint only produced 350,000 Morgan Dollars, a staggeringly low number considering the other 3 mints produced a combined total of over 34 million. Because of its low mintage, the 1889-CC Morgan is scarcely found in choice condition. PCGS population reports only 7 in this grade, with just 41 graded higher.

This gorgeous Silver Morgan has incredibly lustrous surfaces. The details are very nicely defined, especially Liberty's ear and hair. This Carson City Morgan is an incredible choice certified rarity that is certainly deserving of a high-end collection or Registry Set. There is some light rim toning on the obverse.
