Description

This 1891-S $1 Morgan has graded an impressive MS66 by PCGS. This highly lustrous Morgan has nice eye-appeal. A bright cartwheel shine rolls across sharply struck devices that are rich with detail. This Silver Dollar will make an excellent addition to a numismatic collection.

The San Francisco mint produced over 5.2 million Silver Dollar coins in 1891. From that original mintage, current PCGS population shows ONLY 8 graded MS67, with a list price of $17,500, and NONE higher. The scarcity and price point of the higher grade make this MS66 the preferred Gem grade among savvy investors and collectors.
