Description

This 1921 $1 Proof Morgan, from the Zerbe collection, is graded PR66 by PCGS and is CAC certified. Smooth fields and sharp devices gleam with an exquisite cartwheel shine. The details are very nicely defined. This Morgan Dollar has amazing eye-appeal and is an excellent addition to a high end collection or Registry Set.

In order to appease Farran Zerbe, who was impatiently awaiting the 1921 Peace Dollar, the U.S. Mint released a Proof 1921 Morgan. It is estimated that only 20-200 were produced. Current PCGS pop shows ONLY 11 graded PR66 with only 1 graded higher, at PR66+.

This Silver Proof has also been CAC certified for its incredible detail. With CAC, prices for the solid quality coins are untethered from their lesser quality counterparts. A coin with CAC certification will have significant meaning to collectors and investors, and CAC coins tend to command higher premiums. CAC pop shows ONLY 4 PR66 Proof Morgans received the CAC certification.
