Description

This 1921 $1 Peace Silver Dollar, graded MS64 by PCGS, is quite impressive. Strong detail is present in Liberty's facial features, as well as on the eagle's beak and talons. Smooth, clear fields and a light wash of pale champagne toning give this Silver Peace Dollar abundant eye appeal.

1921 was the first year that the Peace Dollar was produced, and it was minted with a high relief design that was discontinued in the following year. Only a fraction of the relatively small original mintage have survived circulation and bullion melts to be graded in Choice condition, making this scarce Silver Dollar a desirable collectible.
