Description

Presenting a CAC Certified 1927-S $1 Peace that has graded MS65 by PCGS. This Silver Dollar is in fantastic condition for its grade, featuring highly lustrous surfaces that gleam with a brilliant cartwheel shine. The fields are incredibly smooth and the fields are crisp with great high-point detail throughout. With great depth in the design and frosty surfaces, this Peace Dollar will fit nicely into a high-end collection or Registry Set.

The San Francisco mint produced 866,000 Peace Dollars in 1927 but few of those remain to have graded higher than this MS65. Current PCGS population shows ONLY 7 have graded higher, 5 at MS65+ and 2 at MS66, with list prices starting at $52,500 for the MS66. The rarity and high price of the MS66 make this MS65 the preferred Gem grade among investors and collectors.

This Peace Dollar has also been CAC certified for its bright luster and incredible detail. With CAC, prices for the solid quality coins are untethered from their lesser quality counterparts. A coin with CAC certification will have significant meaning to collectors and investors, and CAC coins tend to command higher premiums.
