Stunning 2011-W 25th Anniversary American Silver Eagle Proof, graded a perfect PR70 Deep Cameo First Strike in the Mercanti Signature Label holder by the professionals at PCGS. John M. Mercanti was the 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint.

This dazzling Proof Silver Eagle features bright mirror-like fields that contrast brilliantly with the sharp, frosted devices. This Proof Silver Eagle has exquisite eye-appeal.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

American Silver Eagles appeal to both investors and collectors alike. Silver Eagles contain 1oz of pure .999 Silver and are guaranteed by the U.S. government in weight, content and purity. The surfaces display a rendition of world-renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman's magnificent Walking Liberty design, originally used on the United States Half-Dollar coin from 1916 – 1947.
