Presenting a stunning pair of 2012-S First Strike U.S. Silver Eagle Proofs, struck to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the San Francisco Mint. The first is a dazzling Deep Cameo Proof graded a perfect PR70 DCAM by PCGS. It is paired with an equally impressive Reverse Proof, which PCGS has graded at PR70. Featuring sharp, well-struck devices, clear fields and gleaming mirror like surfaces, these beautiful 1oz Silver Eagles will make valuable additions to any collection or portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
