Description

Here is an amazing Set of 2 1972 Malta Gold 10 and 20 Pounds coins in BU condition. This Set contains a total of .5307 oz of Gold (the 10 Pound contains .1769 oz and the 20 Pound contains .3538 ounces).

Both obverses features the crowned coat of arms with supporters. The reverse of the 10 Pound coins depicts a Kenur (a Maltese stone charcoal stove). The 20 Pound Gold coin's reverse has a merill bird. Each coin has a mintage of only 16,000.

Each coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The surfaces are a bright gold and shine with terrific original mint luster. The details are crisp and the fields are quite smooth. Please note: the 20 Pound coin has large spot on the obverse, which can be seen in the picture.
