This absolutely breathtaking 2006-W $100 American Platinum Eagle has been graded MS70 and certified Early Releases by NGC due to its perfect condition. Fully articulated, frosty devices stand out against untouched fields, providing for a gorgeous appearance.

A product of the famous West Point Mint, this 1oz Platinum Eagle is truly captivating. Displaying an iconic image of the Statue of Liberty on the obverse, the intricate detail and luminous shine will make this flawless Eagle a valuable part of any collection.

Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. A 2006-W $100 Platinum Eagle, graded MS70 by NGC and certified Early Releases with certification number 3013429-001. NGC graded coins are sonically sealed inside a plastic core piece that holds it securely within the transparent holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
