Produced at the West Point mint and featuring sharp devices set against smooth fields, the details are crisp and the surfaces reflect the wonderful Ultra Cameo Proof luster so coveted by avid collectors. These 2016-W Platinum Proof Eagle bullion coins are amazing and will be a great addition to any collection or portfolio.

Early Release coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated Early Release. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified Early Release during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
