All four of the Platinum Eagles in this stunning, beautifully-matched set feature brilliant original mint luster, with smooth, clear fields, and well-struck devices. This set contains the following 4 2005 Platinum Eagle coins: $100 1oz Platinum Eagle, $50 1/2oz Platinum Eagle, $25 1/4oz Platinum Eagle, $10 1/10oz Platinum Eagle.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issuance to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
