Presenting a Set of 4 2008-W Platinum Eagles graded MS70 by PCGS and certified First Strike. All 4 of the Platinum Eagles in this stunning, beautifully-matched set feature brilliant original mint luster, with smooth, clear fields and well-struck devices. This is an excellent set that will fit perfectly into any collection.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. Use of these first dies typically result in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.

This set contains the following 4 2008-W Platinum Eagle coins: $100 1oz Platinum Eagle, $50 1/2oz Platinum Eagle, $25 1/4oz Platinum Eagle, $10 1/10oz Platinum Eagle.

The coins pictures are the exact coins you will receive. A Set of 4 2008-W Platinum Eagles graded MS70 by PCGS and certified First Strike. PCGS graded coins are sonically sealed in a protective, tamper-evident PCGS NumisCap holder. A special label within the holder indicates the coin's certification number, grade, date, denomination, unique bar code and pedigree if applicable.
