This beautifully matched set of 4 2006 Platinum Eagles has graded MS70 by PCGS and is Certified First Strike and is in one holder. This set has each of the denominations of Platinum Eagles, all featuring a bright original mint luster. Sharply struck devices stand out against smooth fields, giving each Platinum Eagle fantastic eye-appeal. This set will make an excellent addition to any collection or investment portfolio.

First Strike coins are produced using the first dies forged by the Mint for a particular series. The use of these first dies typically results in a higher quality strike and finer details. A coin must be proven to have been released by the Mint within the first 30 days of issue in order to be designated First Strike. Only a limited quantity of coins will be classified First Strikes during any production run, making them prized among collectors and investors for their increased scarcity and added beauty.
